YOUTH CAMP

Youth camp is based on the concept of experiential learning in that participants actively engage in a non-formal education setting and learn from cultivated experiences. We aim to provide learners a mix of basic theories/models and interactive activities such as exercises, (serious) games, play roles, stimulation. Our camps take place in remote areas where we have access to nature enabling participants to disconnect from their everyday environment so that they can entirely emerge themselves in a new setting which can bring a huge benefit for the learning. Participants on the one hand will be triggered with some anxiety and insecurity but on the other hand, are encouraged to step out of their comfort zone to discover one-self. The location also played an important role in our program as most of our activities will be held outdoors by certified outdoor education trainers.

Each individual is taking care of our camp during the learning process. We design a program in which many activities like presentations, debates, group discussions are taking place. We create an open and friendly environment where each camper can freely express their own opinions, thoughts, and feelings without any judgment. Reflection is always an exciting part as participants can decide what to learn, what fits, and what to take with them from the experience they made which we always respect and value.

Survival, serving and other skills also play a significant role in our camp as all participants need to cooperate to work on cooking, cleaning, and other stuff during their stay as we believe that campers can also learn new skills and develop team spirit within these activities. We also try to organize baking sessions and DIY activities so that we all can learn something and have fun at the same time. There will also be leisure time when we can visit local markets, talk to locals, visit and discover cultural and natural sites.
